Life in New York was hard enough for Michael before he lost his girlfriend, apartment, and job. Now broke and directionless, he crashes on the couches of his close friends, all of whom are committed to helping him get back on his feet. Unfortunately, their advice continually proves disastrous, complicating his attempts to move on with his life, and furthering his search for tomorrow night's couch.
